My Greeting Box: A monthly card making subscription box review

I was so excited when Holly from My Greeting Box contacted me to see if I would like to try out her card making subscription box. Weirdly, I had been on the hunt for a good card making subscription box for a while but had been struggling to find one so this honestly came at the perfect time.

My Greeting Box is a monthly subscription kit which includes card making supplies and tools. It comes with illustrated step by step instructions which shows you how to make three different cards. It also comes with extra supplies so you can come up with your own designs.

The Magical Fairy Themed June box

Holly very kindly gifted me the June box which was magical fairy themed. You all know my love for Disney and magic so this box was perfect for me. As well as receiving the contents of the June box, I also received the starter kit which everyone will receive when they first sign up. This includes some must-have items such as foam tape, scissors colouring pens and an ink pad. It’s so useful to receive these additional items as they are key items to have when card making.

One thing that particularly stood out to me in the box was the instructions that came with 3 different card designs. These are illustrated and laid out in a really simple to follow way. I had no problem understanding what I was meant to be doing. What I love about this is that it’s a good way to get inspiration. Everyone has their own ideas and it’s great to see some ideas and still be able to come up with your own ideas as well.

The box includes literally everything you need to make the cards which I found really helpful. Items include things such as card, envelopes, stamps, ink, embellishments, glue, double sided sticky tape and clear wallets to protect the cards once you’ve made them.

One thing I was very impressed with is the quality of the stamps that are sent. I’ve been making cards for a few years now and some rubber stamps are awful! I found these took the ink really well and transferred evenly on to the surface of the card.

I had so much fun designing cards with the instructions provided. Below is one of my final card designs which I’m so pleased with! I’m now excited to experiment with the products provided and start to come up with some of my own designs.
